Insecurities And Quirks

We all have our insecurities and quirks

So, instead of giving reprimands or smirks

Flash a smile of understanding

To each person in passing

And hand out emotional perks!

Poetry

Learning poetry is confusing

As I daily sit here musing.

Rhythm and rhymes,

Meter and lines,

I think it’s brain abusing!

Ideas to help you start writing

Pick a line from a poem then start a story with it.

Write a childhood memory from the viewpoint of a child – same place and time.

Choose a Ann Landers or whoever question / answer then write a story around it.

Write a story or antedate about your pet.

Write an imitation article of an author you like, i.e. Erma Bombeck, etc.

Choose a picture and write a story about it.

Look back over your journal and see what you can write about.

What Poem I Write

What poem I write I do not know. But, as I write I want to show how on Jesus we can call and He will save us – grown-up or small.

Repent and believe with your heart, then with your mouth confess that Christ is all love, all hope, and righteousness.

The only one who will save us from hell. The only one who we can all tell our troubles, heartaches, and things in the least; even all our sins that seem to never cease.

When you receive Him, then Heaven is your home. You are secure and do not have to roam this wide wonderful world to see how to begin because since Jesus has saved you, you are within

His sheltering wing to live with Him forever. A special bond that nothing can sever.

Now that I’ve told you what my poem is all about, I think I’ll go write it and see how it turns out.

Since I updated to Vista I could not save my revised web pages on my computer. Now, using this program I can. So, maybe I can update them more often. ... Maybe.
