Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Grampa at the eye of the needle or man hole. I think this gives a different meaning to those verses than to think a sewing needle. My friend's name is Stephanie. She is a German and missionary to Germans.
When a person was out past dark and the gates were closed, he had to pay to get through the little door. This may be the wall seen in Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang.
